Matt DeMarco is a licensed Texas Attorney with experience in constitutional and personal injury cases. From Connecticut originally, Matt and his wife have made a home in Central Texas. Since moving to Texas, Matt has focused his practice on defending individuals and entities when they are sued. Prior to Doyle & Seelbach, Matt gained valuable experience as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas, where he defended law enforcement officers from Section 1983 lawsuits.
Representative Experience
Represented law enforcement officers when sued for various constitutional violations.
Represented the State of Texas in wrongful death suits.
Represented multiple First Amendment cases for both Plaintiff and Defendant.
Extended Bio
Matt earned his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut. While there he was an associate editor for the Health Law Journal, honing his writing skills. Prior to law school, Matt attended the University of Connecticut (UConn) and cheers on the Huskies every March Madness.
Matt lives in Austin with his wife and young son, and their dog, Maggie. When not working you can find them hiking or hosting a dinner party.
