Diego is a tenacious advocate who brings a sophisticated, international perspective to every case he handles. Licensed to practice in both Texas and Mexico, he is a seasoned litigator who prepares every matter for trial with precision and a deep commitment to his clients' success. His practice focuses heavily on Plaintiff Litigation Law, including civil litigation, business Immigration, and Cross-Border business transactions. Diego is known for his ability to navigate intricate legal systems, ensuring that his clients, whether businesses or individuals, receive the highest level of strategic representation.

Before joining the legal landscape in Texas, Diego spent five years practicing commercial litigation in Monterrey, Mexico. During this time, he handled high-stakes banking and insurance litigation, breach of contract disputes, and administrative litigation against government agencies. His background in arbitration and mediation allows him to provide versatile solutions for his clients, both inside and outside the courtroom. Since transitioning to the United States, Diego has applied his advocacy skills to federal court litigation, specifically focusing on Title VII claims, discrimination, and removal defense.

  • Immigration Defense: Directing all phases of asylum, removal defense, and employment-based immigration matters.

Extended Bio

Diego was trained as a rigorous legal scholar and advocate, earning his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Texas School of Law. During his time at UT, he was a standout leader, elected by his peers as the LL.M. Class Representative for the Student Bar Association.

Originally from Mexico, Diego earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Universidad de Monterrey. He graduated with a thesis focused on the "Amparo cassation" and its impact on the Mexican justice system. His academic excellence was recognized nationally when he achieved an "Outstanding" performance rating on the CENEVAL, the national evaluation exam for attorneys in Mexico.

In his free time, Diego is an avid traveler and hiker who enjoys the strategic challenge of a chess match or the creative outlet of playing the piano. A true sports enthusiast, he is a dedicated fan of football (soccer). Diego is fluent in Spanish and English, providing him the unique ability to serve a diverse, multi-jurisdictional clientele.
