Riley Caraway is an associate attorney at Doyle & Seelbach PLLC, where he represents individuals, businesses, and insurers in a wide range of civil litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Riley practiced at a leading Austin defense firm, gaining substantial experience in personal injury litigation, premises liability, automobile collisions, and insurance disputes. He is known for his thorough preparation, strong advocacy skills, and his ability to distill complex issues into clear, practical solutions for clients.

Extended Bio

Raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Riley grew up fly fishing with his brother across the region’s rivers and streams. After earning a double major in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Riley spent a year working for a local attorney in his hometown, assisting with criminal and family law matters and developing a foundation in client advocacy.

Riley went on to attend Texas Tech University School of Law, where he emerged as one of the school’s top advocates. He excelled in Negotiations, Mock Trial, and Moot Court competitions, and earning a place on the ABA Negotiation Team. As a back-to-back regional champion and national quarterfinalist, Riley was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers, a distinction reserved for the nation's top law school advocates.

Before joining Doyle & Seelbach PLLC, Riley practiced civil defense litigation in Austin, representing clients across Texas in a wide range of matters. His experience includes taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, advising insurers, and preparing cases for mediation and trial.

Outside of the office, Riley enjoys fly fishing and learning to play golf with his fiancé. He is passionate about advocacy, preparation, and providing clients with a steady and thoughtful presence throughout the litigation process.
