Daniel is a seasoned litigator with experience in a wide variety of practice areas concerning employers and business owners. This range of experience includes representing businesses and individuals in business torts, defending employers in various employment law matters from claims of discrimination, FMLA issues, wage and hour claims, and enforcement of non-compete agreements, and representing insured businesses in general liability matters of premises liability, dram shop claims, and general negligence.
A native Texas, Daniel grew up in the Texas Hill Country and returned to the area in 2025 to join Doyle & Seelbach. Prior to his return to Central Texas, Daniel practiced in Dallas, Texas for one of the largest firms in the nation as well as one of the state’s most reputable insurance defense firms working primarily in employment litigation.
Daniel lives in South Austin with his two young twins, Bowen and Bradley. With a history of coaching collegiate volleyball, he is a huge fan of Longhorn Volleyball and intends on catching as many matches as possible in Gregory Gymnasium each fall.
Representative Experience
Representation of employers in lawsuits involving claims of discrimination and retaliation under Title VII and the Texas Labor Code as well as other various state and federal statutes, including first chair arbitration experience resulting in a successful dismissal of all claims with sanctions ordered against the claimant;
Representation of small businesses in prosecuting and defending business torts including claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, tortious interference, and trade secret misappropriation;
Representation of restaurants and bars in claims for premises liability and dram shop claims.
