Eduardo “Wayo” Ortiz is an experienced attorney with more than 10 years of civil litigation and arbitration experience representing individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 100 companies throughout Texas. He focuses on complex commercial and personal injury claims—from high stakes business disputes to wrongful death lawsuits. As an accomplished trial lawyer with a varied practice, Wayo has represented companies in the industries of technology, energy, logistics, retail, and real estate on claims arising from business disputes with other companies and from personal injury claims filed by his client's employees.

Wayo was raised in South Texas to have a deep sense of love and respect for wildlife and nature. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from St. Edward’s University and his juris doctorate from South Texas College of Law. He lives in Austin, Texas and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and cooking. On special occasions, he hosts and cooks paella for his family and friends as an homage to his Spanish roots.
