Estefanía (Estefy) Mitre started her college career at St. Edward’s University in Austin with a double major in Global Studies and French. Her sophomore year, she was awarded the “French Major Student of the Year” and received a competitive scholarship to continue her studies in the French language at L’Universite Catholique de L’Ouest in Angers, France, for the 2016 summer semester. That same year, her dad moved to Australia for a new start and after visiting him, for what was supposed to be a 2-week trip, quickly turned into a four year long adventure. She transferred to the University of Melbourne and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Politics in July 2018. Estefy is currently studying to become a Certified Court Interpreter and Translator (Spanish<>English) and hopes to be certified in 2023. Her employment history includes retail and fashion merchandising, hospitality, and language tutoring. She has worked in the legal industry since 2020, working her way up from intake specialist to pre-litigation assistant to litigation paralegal. She is excited to continue honing her paralegal skills at Doyle & Seelbach.

Estefy grew up in a couple of different places but calls Monterrey, Mexico, her “primary hometown.” She speaks English and Spanish fluently, French at an intermediate level, and is now learning Portuguese. She’s very passionate about learning about other cultures, languages, and loves to travel. She has lived in 5 countries and has visited about 25 more. She lived in Austin from 2010-2016 and decided to make it her home once again in February 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys salsa dancing, thrifting, plant shopping, and spending time with her friends.
